Before washing, be sure to take these precautions :
- Be careful to separate light colors from dark colors.
- Get a special wool or cashmere shampoo or an ultra gentle baby shampoo.
- A large basin of cold water.
- A clean towel on which to lay your knitting to dry it flat.

During washing :
Use cold water, a small dose of special wool or cashmere detergent, or an ultra-mild baby shampoo. It is important to know that you should not use fabric softeners in the wash, as this product could make it felt and deteriorate the quality of your knitting.
In a small amount of water, wet your knits one by one in the soapy water, without letting it soak, then simply press down by tapping to remove excess moisture and rinse it with clean water without twisting or pull on the stitch.
Wring out your knitting, preferably in a terry towel, and dry it lying flat on a clean towel, making sure to keep its original shape.
It can take up to 3 days for a sweater to dry. Do not expose it to the sun.
